Ondine — feature wall of walnut slabs and pale green cast resin

A river, raised to the wall.

Walnut slabs and a pale green river of cast resin, turned vertical and mounted as a wall. What a table hides at ankle height, a wall holds at eye level — the pour line becomes the horizon of the room.

Typical coverage shown. Every Ondine is panelised and drawn to your wall before the pour.

Each pour is one of a kind — this exact river will not repeat. The design can be ordered again; the pour cannot.

The making

Ondine began as a question asked at the bench: what happens to a river table when the river stands up? The answer is built flat — each panel poured horizontal like any tabletop, walnut slabs set live-edge inward, the pale green resin cast between them in a single session — then cured, cut square and raised. On the wall the seams align and the pour reads as one continuous river climbing past eye level. Nothing about the making changes; only the horizon does.

The lead time is 6–12 weeks, made to order. Drawings first, then sample pours you approve, then one cast per panel and its slow cure — the full method is on the craft page, and the deeper background in river tables, explained. More pieces in this direction are in resin wall art.
